Essentially, you will need a heating source, a tool to melt and pour the wax, a stamp, and it is optional, but you can also get decorations such as colored markers, dried flowers, or glitters for an extra final touch if it is befitting.
You can choose to use a glue gun, which already has the source of heat inside it, or you can choose to use a wax sealing spoon that requires a separate heating source. A glue gun can get tricky to use especially for beginners, while the spoon is more friendly for first starters. However, this is not always the case because some people prefer one over another.
